The “SOLEDAD” communal bank is starting their fourth cycle with Pro Mujer as part of the Panamericana regional office. It is made up of eight members, lead by a board of directors with Vanessa as their President. The businesses run by the members vary; the sale of toys, knitting sweaters, making dried flower handicrafts, selling food, making macrame and "polleria" (traditional shawls), copying and selling CD's, sewing jackets and making sports clothing.
This loan which will benefit all these micro-entrepreneurs.

Vanessa indicated that she joined Pro Mujer two years ago, on the invitation of her friend who is a member of the institution and who commented on the way in which she worked.Today she operates a phone call center, which she opened observing the need for this service in her area and that the businesses operating did not satisfy the market demand.

Vanessa will use the loan to buy capital (buy telephone booths) that she will acquire in the markets of the city of La Paz and install them in her commercial space. This form of work allows her to generate the resources needed for her family, as she is married and has three children. When asked what she liked about Pro Mujer, she replied that she likes the training in health and loans.

La A.C. “SOLEDAD” iniciará el quinto ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Panamericana, está compuesta por ocho integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Vanessa es la Presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos existen: venta de juguetes, tejedora de chompas, artesanía en flores secas, venta de comida, tejido de macramé y pollerería, copia y venta de CD’s, costura de chamarras, costura de deportivos.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora Vanessa es integrante, ella indica que hace dos años que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por invitación sus amiga que es socia de la institución y le comento de la forma de trabajo que se realiza. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de servicios de llamadas; este negocio lo inicio al observar el requerimiento de los vecinos de su zona y al observar que las tiendas no satisfacían el mercado.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra de cabinas telefónicas) que adquirirá de las ferias de la ciudad de la Paz y posteriormente lo instalará en su espacio de servicio. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para su familia ya que ella es casada y tiene tres hijos.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta las capacitaciones en salud y crédito.
