Rebecca is a married woman with four children, three in school and one who is still too young for school. She lives at her own house that has neither electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is food for the family.
For the past four years, she has operated a kiosk business, selling from home to her neighbors and passersby. She faces a major challenge of seasonality in her business.
With the loan that she is requesting, she wants to purchase stock of rice, tea leaves, maize flour, beans and wheat flour for her business. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
