Kanini, a 47 year old married mother of two in Thika, is a mixed-crop farmer. She earns a monthly income of KES 7,000, which she uses to support her family.
This marks her second loan term with KADET after repaying her previous loan successfully. With the new loan, Kanini will be able to purchase one-day-old chicks and chicken feeds.
The additional income she hopes to earn will allow her improve the standard of living for her family. In the future, Kanini would like to further expand into livestock farming. She hopes to save money to expand her farmland.
