Tatyana is married with two kids. She is a small entrepreneur from the town of Znamenka where she sells inexpensive clothing for women and hot tea/coffee. Her business is located in a very good place -- right at the entrance to the marketplace. Tatyana started as a retail tea and coffee vendor. Then she rented a kiosk and stocked it with women's clothing which facilitated growth of her trade. She has been in business for three years. Currently, she has about $2000 in inventory. Her profit is about $400-600 a month.
Tatyana is very experienced and skilled. She purchases only marketable merchandise for further retail sales in her kiosk. She is seeking a 3000 Grivna ($1075 USD) loan to re-stock her inventory and increase the assortment of clothing items for sale. One of Tatyana's long-term goals is to open a covered kiosk which would look more like a small store. As for her personal dreams she would love to fix some things in her old private house where she lives with her husband and two daughters.
