The communal bank "Buena Esperanza Cajata Pampa" will begin its first term in Pro Mujer as part of the Achacachi regional office. It is comprised of eight members, and is run by a board of directors with Ms. Carmen as the president. The members run a wide variety of businesses, including the sales of vegetables, weaving of sweaters and blankets, sales of cattle, fruits, other foods, and detergents.

This loan will benefit the group of small businesses where Carmen is a member. She said that this was their first loan with Pro Mujer and that they joined at the invitation of a Pro Mujer promoter who came to visit her at her house. Currently, she runs a business selling detergents. She learned the business from her father, who loaned her a small amount of capital to start up the business.

This current loan will be used to increase her capital through the purchase of detergents, which she will get from the stores in the city of El Alto, and then sell in her sales location. This work allows her to earn money towards maintaining her home, as she is married and has four children.

When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she said that she likes the training that she gets about credit and health.

La A.C. “BUENA ESPERANZA CAJATA PAMPA” iniciará el primer ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Achacachi, está compuesta por ocho integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Carmen es la Presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos existen: venta de verduras, tejido de mantas, tejido de chompas, venta de ganado, venta de frutas, venta de comida, venta de detergentes.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora Carmen es integrante, ella indica que es la primera vez que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por invitación de un promotor de la institución que fue a visitarle a su casa. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de venta de detergentes; da a conocer que este negocio lo aprendió por iniciativa de su padre quien le prestó un pequeño capital para el inicio de su negocio.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra de detergentes) que adquirirá de las tiendas de la ciudad de El Alto y posteriormente lo comercializará en su espacio de venta. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para mantener en lo posible a su hogar pues ella es casada y tiene cuatro hijos.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta las capacitaciones de crédito y salud.
