EDJROMAHOU est groupement composé de vingt personnes qui résident dans le même quartier. La représentante de ce groupement, du nom de Yélian (est celle ayant une main levée sur la photo) n'a pas fréquenté l'école. Dans le but de rehausser le niveau de leur activité afin de mieux faire face à la demande de leur clientèle, ce groupement sollicite pour une deuxième fois l'appui financier de ALIDé. Yélian est veuve et vit seule. Pour satisfaire ses besoins, Yélian vend de la nourriture de façon ambulante. Yélian s'approvisionne dans un marché du Bénin. Dans le but d’accroitre le niveau de son activité et de satisfaire sa clientèle, Yélian ensemble avec les autres membres du groupement EDJROMAHOU sollicite un deuxième crédit auprès de ALIDé. Le prêt antérieur a été bien remboursé.

Alidé is a Beninese NGO that works to reduce poverty by offering sustainable access to productive loans like this one in addition to savings, training sessions, and social work to low-income families.

Supporters of this loan should be aware that there is some risk of being repaid late. Because the Beninois Ministry of Finance has imposed restrictions on the amount of money Alidé can send to Kiva, the organization can only send monthly repayments in installments smaller than $13,000. This means that some Kiva lenders may receive their repayments late.
