Agatha is an old client, having borrowed three times from UGAFODE Micro finance. She has a restaurant in Ishaka town along a busy Street which serves an average of 40 people per day. She gives the business an average of 10 hours per day and she has done this since 2003. In addition to the restaurant business, she is also involved in agriculture (growing bananas) which greatly boosts her monthly income. She started the business so she could support her family financially. She hopes to use the Ugafode loan (ugx.1,200,000) to buy more food stuffs to use in her business. Her future hope is to pay school fees for all her children so that they can have a decent education. Agatha says her main challenge is the irregular income of the people in the community she serves.
