Stanislav is a first-year student of the American University of Central Asia and this is his story.
Stanislav graduated a private high school in Bishkek this year. It was his dream to enroll at AUCA, and fortunately he had a chance to get admitted to the Business Administration Department at AUCA. His scores on the entrance exams are quite good, which means that Stanislav is ready to study at such a university.
His mother always tried her best to give her children the best education, but she can’t afford paying the tuition fees fully, as she is the only employee in their family. Thus Stanislav hopes to get financial support from Kiva, which could partially cover his expenditures. He also has a sister, who studies at a private school and his mother pays for her studies too. If Kiva supports him, it will give him a chance to be concentrated on studies and not on how to earn money for studies.
Stanislav’s mother used to tell her children that the best investment is an investment in education. Therefore, Stanislav even enrolled in the preparatory courses at AUCA last year, which makes him ready to be one of the strong students of AUCA. He hopes to get this opportunity as AUCA is one of the best universities in Kyrgyzstan.
