Wallen is a thirty-year-old divorced man with four children living in Kasese, Uganda. For a year now he has been in the agricultural business and he also operates a retail shop in order to meet his daily family expenses. Good father that he is, he desires to educate his children, construct a permanent residential house, and venture into produce sales so as to raise more income for the family. Wallen intends to use the loan to buy coffee, maize and rice to sell.

This loan is part of HOFOKAM's program targeting poor and geographically excluded populations in Western Uganda. In addition to loans, it provides social and business training programs to low-income entrepreneurs and their communities.
