Meet 28-year-old Isatu from Tombo, Western rural area in Sierra Leone. She is married with two children, ages 3 years and 7 years. One of her children is currently attending school.
In 2009, Isatu established her retail business. She started the business to improve her standard of living. She works at the business 7 days per week and 15 hours per day. She says that the main challenge to her business is the transportation problem and poor road network within her operation area.
Isatu requires a loan in order to buy more brooms and charcoal for resale. She hopes that the extra income from this loan will allow her to take good care of her family and increase her business.
In the future, Isatu plans to expand her business more. She thanks you for your support.
