Nastorio is a tea farmer who started tea farming in 2003. Farming is his sole source of income, and he gives it an average of six hours per day. The farm is located in rural Ishaka, Bushenyi. He started the business with the purpose of getting a clear source of income so he could educate his children.
Nastorio would like to use the loan money to buy fertilizers to put in his tea garden so that it will yield more and hence produce more income, enough money to educate his children. His major clients are the tea traders in his local area. His major challenges include seasons, which change unexpectedly and affect the quantities he harvests. However, he has hopes that the loan he gets (3,000,000 UGX) will boost his business and help him achieve his goal in life.
