At 64 years of age, Mrs. Lokossi M. is a widow with five (05) children in her care. She has lived in Agbanakin for twenty years with her family. The production and marketing of palm nut oil generates income for her, and is a business she engages in with passion and love. It is a tiresome job in that it requires removing the shells and sorting the nuts before using them. But often she does not produce a large quantity of oil due to a lack of means.

To make her work more profitable so as to feed herself and her family and to have financial autonomy, Mrs. M. is asking for a loan of $650 to buy a nutcracker which will allow her to shell the nuts. The rest of the amount will allow her to stock up on nuts and to buy cans for the packaging of her oil. She will then always have oil to sell and can increase her sales.
