Halima is married with five children and four of her children go to school. She has a business of making bricks and has been in this business for two years. She has applied for a loan of 200,000 Ugandan shillings from MCDT SACCO to buy more firewood for burning bricks. She works from home and sells on wholesale only. Her major business challenges are seasonality and thieves. She is aspiring of investing in used clothes and also to educate her children up to university. She resides in her own house and the family has access to electricity and piped water. Her monthly expenses include school fees and feeding the family.
