Mbery is an elderly woman who had to be responsible early on, since it has been thirty years that she has been doing commerce in dried fish. She is married and takes care of her six children, of whom the oldest is 30, and the youngest is 17. She starts her day at 6 AM, and she does not return home until 6 PM.
With this loan, she is going to purchase dried fish, which she resells at the communal market in her town, as can be seen in the photo. For the future, Mbery would like to purchase a car to transport her merchandise, thus she will be able to increase her income and improve her family's living conditions.
