Betty is 29 years old and lives in the town of West Point. She is single and has two children aged 3 and 9 who live with her and are attending school. For five years, she has been selling bread along with butter. She sells every day in the morning and evening and has a regular group of customers whom she visits regularly to deliver bread and butter. She sells on credit to some clients and is sometimes unable to collect all the money owed on time. She likes to make her own money with the business.
Betty has requested a loan to purchase more bread and butter. In the future, she wants to be her own boss and wants her children to live a good life. She thanks BRAC Liberia for its continuous support.
