Richard runs a retail shop in the town of Oloitoktok, where he sells bread, sugar, tea leaves and cooking oil, among other items. He is 34 years old, married, and has two children. He has been in this business for four years. This is his second loan from KADET LTD. He intends to use the loan to increase his stock of tea leaves, bread, sugar, maize flour, cooking oil and detergents. He will use the income that is generated to buy a motorbike, which he will use in transporting his stock from the wholesaler to his shop. In the future Richard hopes to buy a plot of land and build rental houses.
