Margaret is a single mother of four children and all her children go to school. She also takes care of additional family members (old parents). She has a business selling tomatoes and onions.
She has applied for a loan of 500,000 Uganda Shillings from MCDT SACCO to buy more boxes of tomatoes and onions. She works at the market seven days out of every week and on retail basis. Her major business challenges are seasonality and thieves.
She aspires to own a plot of land so as to start growing tomatoes and onions and also to build a house. She resides in a rented house and the family has access to electricity and piped water. Her monthly expense includes rent and school fees.
