Afërdita is married and 42 years old. She lives only with her husband in the southern part of Kosovo as her daughter is married and lives with her own husband. Her son died many years ago in a car accident. Even to this day, she always has a pain for her son that she lost. Afërdita operates a handicraft business from her home and reports that doing this type of work helps her to forget the pain that she had for a long time.
She has been working for over 10 years now making traditional handicraft items and has been sustaining her business through her own efforts. She is very professional and she has many requests from her customers. Afërdita is requesting a loan through KosInvest in order to purchase various materials for her work. She hopes to expand her business in the future and be able to open her own shop outside of her home. Knowing that this is a Kiva loan, she really appreciates this support!
