Everline is married with two children who are both in school. She lives in a rental house that has both electricity and piped-in water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food and school fees. She operates a computer shop in which she provides printing, photocopying and typing services for her customers, who are mostly passersby and neighbors. She is requesting for a loan for KSH. 20,000 to buy paper and color toner for her business. She joined Yehu to secure access to financial support.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
