A loan of $425 helped to buy a sewing machine to help his wife start a business.

Akhtam's story

Akhtam is a 28-year-old, young man. He has a wife and one small infant, with whom he resides in the Jilikul region. Akhtam is engaged in agriculture.

At the moment, he wants to help his wife to open a sewing business. His wife knows how to embroider women's national dresses, but does not have a sewing machine.

Akhtam is asking for a loan to buy his wife a new, modernized sewing machine. His wife plans to take orders at home and to sew two dresses per day.

The business will bring them good profits and their financial situation will be much improved.
