Mary is 35 years old. She is married and resides with her three children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been working in a garment factory for more than two years, earning approximately $3 per day. Her husband is a motor taxi driver, who makes an income of $3 each day.
To be able to access electricity, Mary needs to ask for a loan of $500 to pay for an electricity connection. In the future, she would like to run a grocery store and help her children enter higher education.
