Srey Nhar is 40 years old. She is married and resides with three children in Kampong Speu Province, Cambodia. As a housekeeper, Srey Nhar receives support from her husband and children. Her husband is a manual laborer who earns about $4 per day. Two of her children are employed in a garment factory. They earn about $8 daily. In order to improve her family’s finances, Srey Nhar is asking for a loan of $1500 to purchase a motorbike for her husband to run a taxi service. This purchase will help him to generate more income for the family. In the future, she would like to rebuild her house and to help her youngest child earn a bachelor’s degree.
