Enidia
Enidia is 61 years old and and lives in the town of Puerto Colombia, department of Atlántico, 13 km from the city of Barranquilla and part of the metropolitan area of the city. The Caribbean coast is nearby to the north, so her most important business is tourism. She lives with her husband and they have three children aged 30,32 and 35.

Enidia runs a general store where she sells items of stationery, cosmetics, hand and body lotions, perfumes, colognes and lingerie. She has been doing this for 2 years following a suggestion from her neighbours who encouraged her to start this business up in her home. She buys her supplies in cash from wholesale stores in the city of Baranquilla. She sells on a cash basis to neighbours and people referred by them. She opens her shop every day from 7 in the morning until 7 at night.

This is Enidia's first Kiva loan with the Fundación Santo Domingo and she will use it to buy creams, colognes, cosmetics and items of stationery. With this investment she hopes to be able to increase her sales and her profits, and put some money into savings. Her medium term goal is to continue to increase her range and to refurbish her house.

Enidia es una mujer de sesenta y un (61) años de edad, reside en el municipio de Puerto Colombia, departamento del Atlántico, a 13 km de la Ciudad de Barranquilla, y forma parte del área metropolitana de esta ciudad. Colinda al norte con las costas del mar caribe. Por lo que su actividad económica más importante es el turismo. Vive con su conyugue, con el cual tiene tres hijos en edades de Treinta (30), treinta y dos (32) y treinta y cinco (35) años de edad. Su actividad de negocio es una miscelánea, donde vende artículos de papelería, cosméticos, cremas para manos y cuerpo, pérfumes, colonias y lencerías. Desde hace dos (2) años inició esta actividad, atendiendo una sugerencia de los vecinos, quienes la motivaron a emprender este negocio desde su casa. Compra de contado todos los artículos en almacenes mayoristas de la ciudad de Barranquilla. Vende de contado a vecinos y referidos. Su negocio lo abre todos los días de siete (7) de la mañana a siete (7) de la noche. Este es su primer credikiva con la Fundación Mario Santo Domingo, el cual lo aplicará en la compra de cremas, colonias, cosméticos, y artículos de papelería. Con esta inversión espera aumentar las ventas, las utilidades, y generar ahorros. Su meta a mediano plazo, es la de seguir ampliando su inventario, y remodelar su vivienda.
