Charles is a 50-year-old man living in Masindi, Uganda. He is married and charged with the responsibility of taking care of four children. He is a farmer dealing in maize production and his major clients are maize millers. The seasonal nature of the business and theft affect his business while his dreams are to educate his children to attain degrees as a minimum qualification and to venture into mechanized agriculture. Charles intends to use the loan to buy farm inputs such as seedlings and fertilizers.

This loan is part of HOFOKAM's program targeting poor and geographically excluded populations in Western Uganda.
