Thu is a 57-year-old married woman. She lives with a daughter and husband in Ho Chi Minh City. Her husband earns money as a worker of a food factory. She has run a general store at her house for 15 years. She sells milk, beverages, stationery, confectionery, and some household electrical goods. She intends to use her loan to buy many kinds of products to sell such as eggs, sugar, and sanitary items.
She also hopes that through her loan she will be able to increase her income and save money for any future difficulties her family faces.
