Siaka is 33 years old, married and the father of 2 children. He lives with his wife and their children in a large traditional family in Hamdallaye, one of the popular districts of Sikasso town (third administrative region of the republic of Mali). Having had several failed businesses, he started buying and selling charcoal and firewood about 4 years ago. He gets his supplies from the surrounding villages and has his own tractor with which to transport them. He is much in demand by his customers because of the quality of his products. He decided to join the Soro Yiriwaso microfinance institution about 2 years ago in order to be able to better satisfy his growing clientèle and is on his 6th individual loan. The 5 previous loans have been correctly repaid. He plans to use this 6th loan to buy 10 loads of firewood and some spare parts for his tractor, and to pay for maintenance on it. Thanks to this loan, he expects to make a monthly profit of 200 000 francs which he will use to build up his working capital, contribute to the family expenses and repay the interest on his loan.
Âgé de 33 ans, Monsieur Siaka est marié et père de 2 enfants, il réside avec son épouse et leurs enfants dans une grande famille traditionnelle à Hamdallaye, un des quartiers populaires de la ville de Sikasso ( troisième région administrative de la république du Mali).
Monsieur Siaka après avoir mené beaucoup d’activité sans succès, s’est initié il y a environ quatre années à cette activité d’achat et de vente des charbons des bois et de bois de chauffe. Il ‘approvisionne dans les localités environnantes de Sikasso dont il dispose de son propre tracteur pour leurs transports. Il est beaucoup sollicité de sa clientèle pour la qualité de ses produits. Dans le souci de mieux satisfaire sa clientèle de plus en plus croissante, Il décida d’intégrer l’institution de microfinance Soro Yiriwaso il y a environ deux années et il est a son sixième prêt individuel, les cinq prêts précédents ont été correctement remboursés.
Avec ce sixième prêt, il compte acheter 10 chargements de charbons de bois, 10 chargement de bois de chauffe et des pièces de recharges et l’entretien de son tracteur.
Il envisage réaliser avec ce prêt un bénéfice mensuel de 200 000 FCFA qui sera utilisé pour augmenter son fonds de commerce, contribuer aux dépenses familiales et payer les intérêts de son prêt.
