Eider is a 32-year-old man. He is married and the father of two children who are 11 and four years old. The will augment his sales, and, ultimately, his revenues. Eider dreams of having his own soccer field to be able to improve his finances so he will be able to offer his children a better education and improve his entire family's quality of life.

Debido al desempleo y la falta de oportunidades laborales, su familia ha pasado por una situación económica muy difícil, pero con su actitud emprendedora y con ganas de salir adelante siguió buscando opciones que le permitieran salir adelante y hace 6 meses se le presentó la oportunidad de alquilar un espacio que tiene una cancha sintética de fútbol la cual alquila por horas, además cuenta con una tienda al lado de la cancha donde ofrece mecato, bebidas hidratantes, gaseosas, y licor, con esto ha logrado recibir ingresos para continuar con el sustento de su hogar. El prestatario solicita el crédito para invertirlo en la compra de activos fijos (mesas y sillas) y surtido al por mayor (mecato, cerveza, gaseosa, bebidas hidratantes, confitería); con esto podrá mejorar la imagen de su negocio para que sus clientes estén cómodos y puedan disfrutar del espacio y ofrecerá mayor variedad de productos para satisfacer los diferentes gustos de las personas que visitan su negocio; esto aumentará sus ventas y por ende sus ingresos. Eider sueña con tener su cancha sintética propia para poder mejorar su economía, de esta forma podrá ofrecer mejor educación a sus hijos y mejorar la calidad de vida de toda la familia.
This loan is structured on Kiva as a bullet loan, which means a single payment is required at the end of the loan term. By Colombian law, Kiva's partner Interactuar is required to offer borrowers loans with a variable interest rate that fluctuates with the market rate. Because fixed monthly payments are applied first to interest and then to principal, Interactuar is unable to predict upfront what portion of each repayment would go towards the loan principal. This creates a challenge with Kiva's system, which doesn't allow for unpredictable principal payments, and can result in some Interactuar clients appearing falsely delinquent. To remedy this, the loan has an end-of-term repayment plan on Kiva, but the borrower will continue scheduled monthly repayments to Interactuar, who will then pass along the principal amount to Kiva lenders. This means that you may see repayments made on this loan throughout the repayment term, as opposed to receiving repayment in full at the end of the loan term.
