For the last 25 years she has had a business making and selling crafts made from wood and from jícaro gourds. She sells her crafts in street markets and sells her goods by order in the eastern market of Managua and in Los Pueblos Blancos. Her sister and her niece help her to paint her crafts.

She is seeking a loan in order to purchase materials such as paints, wood, rubber, lacquer, yarn and jícaro gourds.

El grupo está formado por cuatro socias emprendedoras una de ellas es Juana mujer de 55 años de edad, casada, con un hijo de 23 años, su negocio es la elaboración y venta de artesanía de madera y jícaro desde hace 25 años, sus productos los comercializa ambulante y por encargo en el mercado oriental de Managua y los pueblos blancos. Su hermana y un sobrino le ayudan a pintar las artesanías. El crédito lo solicita para invertir en materiales como colores, madera, goma, laca, jícaro, manila. Maricela mujer de 30 años de edad se dedica al negocio de la elaboración y venta de pan, Josefa mujer de 35 años de edad, su negocio es un salón de belleza y Marta mujer de 44 años de edad y su negocio es la elaboración y venta de artesanía de calzado.
