The Nuevos Senderos credit group is made up of 11 women who live in the area around the city of Cuenca. The city is renowned for its beautiful streets, green fields and colonial architecture. Its cuisine is varied and enjoyed by locals and foreigners alike. All of the members are friendly and helpful and they all strive for a better economic stability for their homes and families so they can make progress in life.

Paztora has been one of the members of the Nuevos Senderos group for a few years. She lives in the centre of the city of Cuenca and she likes the credit group because it is supportive. She is 57 years old and is a widow. She has 4 adult children from her marriage who are working and help her out financially. She does not have her own house so lives in a rented place.

Paztora has been earning a living for the last 25 years selling coffee, fruit juices, fruit salads and other products. She sells her products at a market in the city, working from one Sunday to the next without a fixed timetable.

She will use the loan to buy supplies for preparing her products and so keep her business going.

Her goal is to expand her business, offer more products and eventually have her own stall for her sales.

El grupo de crédito Nuevos Senderos está formado por 11 socias quienes viven por los alrededores de la ciudad de Cuenca, esta ciudad es reconocida por la belleza de sus calles, sus verdes campos y por su arquitectura colonial, su gastronomía es variada y cautiva el paladar de propios y extraños. Las socia al igual que toda su gente se caracterizan por ser amables y gentiles que luchan para que sus hogares y sus familias tengan una mejor estabilidad económica para salir adelante.

Una de las socias de este grupo es la Señora. Paztora, forma parte desde hace algunos años del grupo de crédito Nuevos Senderos, vive por el centro de la ciudad de Cuenca, le gusta este grupo de crédito por ser un grupo solidario.

La Señora Paztora, tiene 57 años, es viuda pero en su unión conyugal ha concebido 4 hijos que son mayores de edad, están trabajando y le ayudan económicamente. No tiene casa propia por lo que vive arrendando.

Doña Paztora desde hace 25 años, se dedica a la venta de café, coladas, ensaladas de frutas y más productos, todos sus productos los vende en un mercado de la ciudad, trabaja de domingo a domingo sin un horario fijo.

Su nuevo crédito lo va a invertir en la compra de víveres para la preparación de sus productos y así continuar en su negocio.

Su meta es ampliar su negocio, ofrecer más productos y llegar a tener su puesto propio para sus ventas.
