Maritza dreams of becoming a professional but, without a degree, knows it may never be possible. Maritza is currently attending the Universidad San Fransisco Xavier, working towards her degree in business. She plans to graduate in December 2013 but without a loan from Vittana she fears that she will need to defer her graduation. Maritza plans on using her loan to buy her school books. Up until now, she has been managing to get by without them but it has become a challenge. With books and school supplies, she feels she will be able to get better grades. One of her biggest challenges has been making time to work and go to school. Currently Maritza earns $8 a day. With a degree in business, she expects to earn $15 a day. With two older siblings attending college already, Maritza is unsure how she will be able to finance her education on her own without the assistance of a Vittana Loan. Maritza currently works 25 hours a week to help afford her school and living expenses.
