Newkiteng raises livestock in Kitengela town and has been in this business for the past three years. She is 37 years old and has six children. Besides livestock farming, she also runs a retail shop. This is her third loan term, and she plans to use the amount she borrows to buy more livestock to raise and sell. These include cows, sheep and goats. She will use the income to buy additional livestock. Newkiteng hopes to grow her business and become successful so as to be able to provide for the needs of her family.
