Andranik and his family live in the village of Shishkert in Syunik region. He is married and has three sons; the elder son is serving in the army and the two others are still school-aged. Andranik has higher education and he has a specialty as a biologist teacher, but now he is engaged in farming and agriculture. His wife works as a teacher in their local school and at the same time she greatly helps her husband in his occupation. On their farm they are raising two cows, four heifers, two calves, fifteen bee families and ten chickens. They also cultivate tomatoes, cucumbers, beans, greens and corn. The work is a lot and very hard, but together they do all the work and do not get tired.
