Oretha is 39 years old and lives in the town of West Point. She is single and has three children between the ages of 6 and 19; all three are attending school.
Since 2003 she has been selling rice, oil, coal etc. in the local market. She started with coal and then started trying other products. Her favorite part of the year is the dry season (from late October through May) because it's the time when she makes more money that allows her to send her children to school.
Oretha is requesting a loan to buy rice, oil, coal etc. to increase her sales. She wants to grow and improve her business to buy pieces of land and build a house, as well as educate her children. She would like to thank the lenders for their support.
