Catalino
Catalino is a 64 year old man who lives in Piura in the district of Jayanca with his wife and 2 children who he loves and who are his main reason for living. He is a friendly, hardworking, and enthusiastic person who, along with his wife, puts all his efforts into helping his family get ahead. Unfortunately, due to a lack of economic resources and because he had to work from a very young age, Catalino could not study for the agriculture degree that he wanted. In his free time he likes to spend some time reading and sometimes cooks fried fish to share with his family.
On his own initiative and with much effort and dedication, Catalino works selling agricultural produce that he grows on his small plot of land. He sells his produce to the merchants in the city. He works everyday from the early hours of the morning and works about 8 hours.
Catalino is very grateful to the Kiva lenders as, thanks to the help they offer, he will be able to build bathroom facilities for his home - currently the family does not have an adequate bathroom. In this way, Catalino and his family will have greater security and wellbeing. He will continue working and striving to achieve his great dream to increase his farm land.

Catalino es un hombre 64 años, vive en la ciudad de Piura, en el distrito de Jayanca con su esposo y sus dos hijos, a quienes ama y son su principal razón en la vida, el es una persona muy amable, trabajadora y entusiasta, que junto con su esposo dedican todos sus esfuerzos por sacar adelante a su familia; lamentablemente por falta de recursos económicos y por la necesidad que tuvo de trabajar desde muy joven para, Catalino no pudo estudiar la carrera profesional de Agronomía que deseaba, en sus ratos libres le gusta dedicar un poco de tiempo a la lectura y en algunas ocasiones cocina un riquísimo Pescado Frito para compartir con su familia.
Por iniciativa propia, con mucho empeño y dedicación, Catalino trabaja comercializando productos agrícolas que cultiva en su pequeña parcela, los cuales vende en mercadillos de su ciudad, él trabaja todos los días desde tempranas horas de la mañana y puede hacerlo por un aproximado de 8 horas.
Catalino se encuentra muy agradecido con los prestamistas Kiva, ya que gracias a la ayuda brindada podrá realizar la construcción de los servicios higiénicos de su hogar, ya que actualmente el y su familia no cuentan con un baño adecuado, de esta manera Catalino y su familia tendrán mayor seguridad y bienestar, así pues el seguirá trabajando y esforzándose para lograr su gran sueño de ampliar sus cultivos.
