Annie is 28 years old and lives in Montserrado County, which has the largest free port and is the number-one commercial county in Liberia. She is married and has four children aged between 8 months and 13 years; only the three oldest ones attend school, and they all live at home. Unfortunately, she stopped her education in 3rd grade, but she manages her business well.
She has been operating a shop where she sells charcoal from 2007 up to the present. She started this business with money given to her by her husband. She enjoys her business because the business gives her more money. She sells six days in a week, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and most of the time, she uses a bus to get her charcoal to her shop.
She is requesting a loan to purchase more charcoal for her business. Her plan is to build a house and educate her children. She would like to say thanks to the lenders for their support.
