Meet 45-year-old Rugiatu from Jui eastern area in Sierra Leone. She is married with three children between the ages of 11 and 24 years old. For the past 10 years, Rugaitu has had her foodstuffs business. She began her business because she wanted to improve her standard of living. She works at the business 12 hours per day and 7 days per week. She says that the main challenges to her business are price fluctuation and transportation cost.
Rugaitu requires a loan in order to purchase more soft drinks, milk, biscuits and sugar for resale. She hopes that the extra income from this loan will allow her to repay her loan and expand her business. In the future, Rugiatu plans to open a food store. She thanks you for your support.
