Maria
María is 59 years old. She is the single mother of a son who is now independent and has his own family. Maria buys and sells fish in the streets of her city. She has a lot of clients, as her fish are the freshest and most delicious in the market. Plus she is a very cheerful vendor. She always manages to get a smile from her customers. Depending on the season she sells different types of fish.

For 30 years now she has had this business covering the streets of the city from one end to the other. She likes her work. She can talk with her customers and joke with them. Plus she generates a good income as she always has good sales. When she first started this work it was much more complicated. She didn't know how to keep the fish so it wouldn't go bad. But she learned with experience and things are going much better for her. In the future she hopes to have a small icebox so she can sell her fish without having to worry about it going to waste in the intense heat.

At this time she is requesting 2500 PEN to buy more fish, of various species, as lately there has been a lot of demand. She is very happy to receive financial support that allows her to get ahead. She promises to pay her installments on time.

María, de 59 años de edad, es madre soltera de un hijo que ahora ya es independiente y tiene su propia familia. María se dedica a la compra y venta de pescado de manera ambulatoria por las calles de su ciudad. Ella tiene muchos clientes, ya que vende el pescado más fresco y sabroso del mercado y es una vendedora muy alegre, que siempre saca a sus clientes una sonrisa. Dependiendo de la temporada, ofrece a la venta diferentes especies de pescado. Lleva 30 años realizando esta actividad recorriendo las calles de la ciudad de extremo a extremo. Le gusta su trabajo por que puede conversar con sus clientes y bromear con ellos, además que le genera muy buenas ganancias ya que siempre tiene ventas considerables, al principio cuando se inició con este trabajo le era muy complicado ya que no sabia como conservar el pescado para que no se malogrará, pero con el tiempo logro aprender y ahora le esta yendo mucho mejor, espera tener en el futuro un pequeño frigorífico donde pueda vender sus pescados sin temor a que se malogren por el intenso calor. En esta oportunidad solicitará S/. 2500, está muy contenta de recibir un apoyo financiero que le permita seguir adelante, además se compromete a pagar sus cuotas de manera puntual. Con el monto solicitado comprará más pescado de diversas especies, ya que últimamente está teniendo mayor demanda.
