The past loan was indeed paid back.

Corn is the crop grown by BROULAYE, who is standing second from the left in the photo. With his loan, he intends to purchase farm inputs and seeds and to pay for plowing to make use of 3 hectares.

After the harvest, the produce is sold to men and women customers in the city of BOUGOUNI. He plans on making a profit of 275,000 francs CFA per planting. The profit will enable him to pay back the loan and help cover the day-to-day expenses of their household.

Le groupe SINIGNESSIGUI est constitué de 8 hommes mariés ayant une moyenne d’âge de 48 ans, 4 enfants et vivant tous dans des familles polygames à DIOUTIEBOUGOU, un des un des villages de BOUGOUNI de la 3ème région administrative du Mali.
Ils collaborent avec l’institution de microfinance Soro Yiriwaso afin de mener à bien leurs activités agricoles hivernale.
Elles sont à leur 4eme prêt avec l’institution, le prêt passé a été bien remboursé.
Le maïs est la spéculation cultivée par BROULAYE, le 2 eme debout dans la photo de la gauche vers la droite.
Avec son prêt, il compte acheter des intrants, la semence et payer les frais de labour pour exploiter 3 hectares.
La production sera vendue au niveau de la ville de BOUGOUNI, au marché, après la récolte à une clientèle composée d’hommes et de femmes.
Il compte réaliser un bénéfice de 275.000FCFA par campagne.
Ce bénéfice lui permettra de rembourser son prêt et d’aider dans les dépenses quotidiennes de leur menage.

Soro Yiriwaso is a microfinance institution that works primarily in rural and semi-urban areas of Mali to provide underprivileged communities with access to financial services.The organization facilitates access for disadvantaged clients, particularly women, to new resources and services, fostering solidarity and cooperation among its clients.
