Mwero is a married man with three children. One of his children is in school. He owns a house that has neither electricity nor piped water.
Mwero has operated a kiosk business from home for the past year, selling to passersby and neighbours. He cited capital as his challenge.
With the Kshs 50,000 he wants to purchase maize flour, wheat flour, sugar, and rice. His dream is to expand his business.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
