Every day Domitila works in order to support her child. She works as a farm worker in her district for approximately nine hours a day. Despite the tedium and exhaustion of her work, she continues working because she depends on her job as a means to give her son a decent life.
Domitila is very grateful to Kiva lenders since thanks to the help they have given her she will be able to buy building materials, such as cement and sand, in order to make improvements to her home like putting down a cement floor, since currently it is only an earth floor. In this way she will continue working and she will be able to continue fighting in order to make her greatest dream of “giving her son a profession and a good quality of life” a reality.
