Kihika is 40-years-old, married and has five children, who all attend school. He operates a small hardware business in Kagadi and earns money to look after the family and to pay tuition.
Kihika has been operating this business for the last five years. He previously received a loan of 3,000,000 Ugandan Shillings (UGX) from Ugafode. Kihika says this loan helped him increase his capital base and to increase his earnings.
Kihika now wants another loan of 3,000,000 UGX to buy more stock for his business and be in position to increase his earnings. His dream is to buy a vehicle to transport material to the business.
The major challenge to Kihika's business is the limited capital and the need to withdraw money to pay tuition for his children. Kihika is appreciative of the services from Ugafode and would like the lenders to keep supporting him financially so that his dream comes true.
