Damius is a 37-year-old married man living in Kasese, Uganda. He is into the agriculture sector but also earns a salary as additional income. He started a business to improve his standard of living and his dreams are to venture into commercialized agriculture and educate his children up to the university despite drought and floods, which are his challenges. Damius intends to use the loan to pay workers who are preparing the garden for the next planting season.

This loan is part of HOFOKAM's program targeting poor and geographically excluded populations in Western Uganda. In addition to loans, it provides social and business training programs to low-income entrepreneurs and their communities.
