Ulanbu is 31 years old, married, and has two children. Since 2003, Ulanbu has been involved in trade of food products, starting with a sum of 10,000 som (KGS). Ulanbu was able to develop her business with a monthly income of about 20,000 som (KGS).

With the goal of expanding her assortment of food products, Ulanbu turned to the microfinance bank Bai-Tushum and Partners for a loan of 100,000 som (KGS).

Ulanbu plans to invest income from the business in further expanding her product range, and in this way in the future wants to improve her family's welfare.
