Johnny
Johnny is 56 years old and lives in the famous city of Barranquilla, in the region of Atlántico, known around the country as "Curramba la Bella". He lives with his partner and their three children, two young men of 21 and 22 years old, and one young lady of only 15 years old.

His business involves renting out washing machines to customers in his neighbourhood and in nearby communities, who call him to request this service. He offers the rental service every day from six in the morning to seven at night. He charges for this service by the hour, and he receives payments in cash.

He started this business five years ago, at the recommendation of a relative. He started with two washing machines, and since the business was working, he began to accumulate more washers. Today he has twelve.

This is his first loan with Kiva through the Mario Santo Domingo Foundation. He will use it to buy five new washing machines, with the goal of offering his services to a greater number of customers, increasing his earnings and profits, and to have some savings. One of his dreams is for him and his family to have their own home.
