A loan of $250 helped to buy milk, sodas and juice.

Kahindi's story

Kahindi, who lives in Malindi, Kenya, is a 30-year-old married father of two children, both of whom are yet too young to attend school. For the last two years Kahindi has been selling drinks such as sodas and juice in the nearby market. He also owns a video hall. His long-term ambition is to one day own a butchery that will supply the whole town with meat.

Kahindi learned of Milango through friends, and he joined to access credit to fund his business. The challenges that he faces include poor stock selection due to financial limitations. He is therefore seeking a loan to buy more milk, sodas and juice. The extra income arising from the loan will go towards improving his family's living standards.
