The biggest challenge to opening Lilyluv Boutique was getting funded. Lily used all of her own savings to establish the business. When denied for a conventional bank loan, Lily felt that she was not taken seriously because she is a young woman. The discouragement did not hamper Lily; her determination to prove to herself that she could be successful, as well as a Kiva loan from Working Solutions, propelled her forward. She hopes her boutique inspires other young women to “follow their dreams, follow their passions” despite the odds against them.
This loan will enable Lily to purchase the inventory she needs to grow the boutique and online store, purchase store furniture, and further promote her business.
