Lassine
Mr Lassine was born in 1975 in Bamako. He lives in a nuclear family with his wife and children in Noumousso, a neighborhood in Kadiolo (third administrative region of Mali).

He's been buying and selling cereals for more than ten years. His experience in this field earned him a good reputation, and he receives lots of orders from various customers.

In order to have the resources required to satisfy his customers, he works with Kiva's partner, the MFI Soro Yiriwaso, from which he is seeking his ninth loan. All previous loans were repaid without problems.

This new loan will enable him to buy approximately 50 sacks of cereals (50 kg each) such as millet, corn, sorghum, and fonio. He gest his supplies in Kadiolo, as well as in the surrounding villages, such as Zégoua.

He sells in Kadiolo. Cereals are stocked in his store in Kadiolo for a good amount of time. His clientele is made up of men and women from the village.

Thanks to this loan, he foresees turning an average monthly profit of XOF 150'000 (ca US$ 300), which will enable him to repay the loan. The remainder will be reinvested in his business.

He intends to become a wholesaler in order to meet an ever-increasing customer demand.

Mr LASSINE est né en 1975 à Bamako et vie à Kadiolo au quartier Noumousso dans une famille nucléaire avec sa femme et ses enfants (troisième région administrative de la république du Mali).
Il mène des activités d’achat et de ventes de céréales depuis plus de 10 ans. Son expérience dans ce domaine, lui a valu une bonne réputation et il reçoit beaucoup de commandes de divers clients. Afin d’avoir des ressources nécessaires pour satisfaire ces clients, il collabore avec l’Institution de Micro Finance Soro Yiriwaso. Il est à son 9eme prêt et tous les prêts précédents ont été correctement remboursés.
Ce nouveau prêt lui permettra de faire l’achat d’environ 50 sacs de 50 kg de céréales tels que (mil, maïs, sorgho et fonio). Il s’approvisionne à Kadiolo ainsi que dans les village environnants tel, que Zégoua. Les ventes sont faites à Kadiolo. Les céréales achetées sont stockées dans son magasin à Kadiolo pendant une bonne période. Sa clientèle est composée d’hommes et de femmes du village.
Avec ce prêt, il envisage réaliser un bénéfice mensuel moyen de 150 000 francs CFA par mois. Ce bénéfice lui permettra de faire face au remboursement des échéances de son prêt et investir le reste dans son activité.

Soro Yiriwaso is a microfinance institution that works primarily in rural and semi-urban areas of Mali to provide underprivileged communities with access to financial services.The organization facilitates access for disadvantaged clients, particularly women, to new resources and services, fostering solidarity and cooperation among its clients.
