Lena is a married, 28-year-old mother of two in Mwingi. Lena has been running a grocery store for the past eight years with a monthly income of 10,000 KS (Kenyan shillings), which she uses to support her family.
Lena is applying for her sixth loan from KADET LTD after repaying her previous loans successfully. She will use the loan to purchase two bags of potatoes costing 8,000 KES, three bags of onions at 16,000 KES and two crates of tomatoes at 6,000 KES. She will use the additional income to repay her loan and improve the standard of living of her family.
She hopes to open a cosmetics shop in the future.
