María Virginia
María is a founding partner of the village bank Mujeres Triunfadoras [Women Achievers]. She likes this group a lot for its friendliness, companionship and loyalty of all of its members.

She lives by the Del Arenal district in the city of Cuenca, a place with a cold climate and a World Heritage Site since 1999 thanks to the beauty of its architecture. Its food is varied and captures the palate of those who visit it, its people are kind, gentle and still maintain the culture and traditions of their people.

María, 55, is a single mother of four children, three of whom are married and live independently. Her 11 year-old studies in a school in the city. She does not have her own house; she rents. María has been making her living selling magazines and lottery tickets for 36 years. She likes this work a lot and she works every day from 5 in the morning until 7 at night.

She will invest the money of her loan into the purchase of magazines and lottery tickets to continue growing in her small business. Her dream is to buy herself land and build her house.

La Señora María es un socia fundadora del grupo de crédito Mujeres Triunfadoras, grupo en el cual le gusta mucho por la amistad, compañerismo y lealtad de todos sus miembros, vive por el sector del Arenal en la ciudad de Cuenca, lugar de clima frió, es desde 1999 Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad gracias a la belleza de su arquitectura, su gastronomía es muy variada y cautiva el paladar de quienes la visitan, su gente es amable, gentil y aun mantienen la cultura y tradiciones de sus pueblos.

La Señora. María tiene 55 años de edad, es madre soltera de 4 hijos, tres de ellos son casados y viven independientes, su hijo de 11 años estudia en una escuelita de la ciudad. No tiene casa propia por lo que vive arrendando.

Doña María desde hace 36 años se dedica a la venta de periódico y billetes de lotería, este trabajo le gusta mucho y labora de domingo a domingo desde las 5 de la mañana hasta las 7 de la noche.

El dinero de su crédito va a invertir en la compra de periódicos y billetes de lotería para continuar creciendo en su pequeño negocio.

Su sueño es comprarse un terreno y construir su casa.
