Betsi Maritza
Betzi has been a lively, charismatic member of the Mujeres Triunfadoras group for ten years. In that time she has formed very good relationships with her companions and other group members. She lives in the Arenal neighbourhood of the town of Cuenca, a place known for its cool climate. Since 1999 it has been World Heritage Site because of its beautiful architecture. The local food is very varied and enjoyed greatly by all who visit. The local people are friendly and kind, and even today maintain the culture and traditions of their ancestors.

Sra. Betzi is 45 years old and lives with her common-law husband and their three children aged 23, 19, and 18. Her older daughter is studying at university in Cuenca, her second daughter helps with her business which Betzi runs out of her home, and her son is a college student. Betzi's husband is a businessman. They don't own a house so live in rented accommodation.

Betzi is a housewife but she has also run a stationery store and a grocery store for three years where she works every day without a fixed schedule. She plans to use the loan money to buy school supplies and stock for her business.

La Señora Betzi es una socia muy alegre, carismática quien forma parte del grupo de crédito Mujeres Triunfadoras hace 10 años, tiempo en el cual ha sembrado una muy buena amistad con todas sus compañeras y amigas del grupo. Vive por el sector del Arenal en la ciudad de Cuenca, lugar de clima frió, es desde 1999 Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad gracias a la belleza de su arquitectura, su gastronomía es muy variada y cautiva el paladar de quienes la visitan, su gente es amable, gentil y aun mantienen la cultura y tradiciones de sus pueblos.

La Señora Betzi tiene 45 años de edad, vive en unión libre y ha concebido 3 hijos de 23, 19 y 18 años, su primera hija está estudiando en una universidad de la ciudad, su segunda hija le ayuda en el negocio ya que pasa en casa, y su último hijo está estudiando en un colegio de la ciudad. Su esposo se dedica al comercio, no tienen casa propia por lo que viven arrendando.

Doña Betzi se dedica a realizar las tareas de su casa, pero también a tiene una papelería y abacería desde hace tres años, labora en ella de domingo a domingo sin un horario fijo.

Su nuevo crédito lo va a invertir en la comprar de útiles escolares y víveres para su negocio.

Su meta es tener su casa propia.
